I have been using LibraryTing to catalogue all Sutcliff editions and translations. Last night I realised I was becoming rather obsessed as I bored on to some friends about it. But it has been interesting, I am beginning to get a feel for how various networking and social tools can actually create  activity and enjoyment. Mind you I have also discovered my first vigilante or at least it felt like it. Somebody on LibraryThing sent me a very abrupt message about my permission for using some photograph. Actually I have it, I am her heir in matters of papers and personal rights. But I was not about to say that, I just politely asked who she was and why she was asking. Looks like she spends her life not reading but policing! On the other hand I do have an interest in copyrighted material not being ripped off!
