Rosemary Sutcliff’s The Eagle of the Ninth is being made into a film starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong, Tahar Rahim. The film is produced by Duncan Kenworthy, directed by Kevin Macdonald, written by Jeremy Brock. Financed by Focus Productions and Channel 4, it is due out in September 2010 in both the USA and UK, and will be distributed in many other countries.
